Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight-end who was a part of the National Football League for 17 seasons. Gonzalez is regarded as one of the best tight ends to ever play. Alongside being the leader in receiving yards and third in total receptions, Gonzalez was also one of the NFL tight end with the most receptions.
Tony Gonzalez is currently a FOX studio analyst. Gonzalez was a guest in FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's hour-long NFL pregame program preceding FOX NFL SUNRISE), which is broadcast every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez signed a new contract to The Falcons with a two-year term and $11 million on the 15th of March 2013. The signing was in spite of being aware that Gonzalez was claiming he would like to retire following the 2013 NFL season. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez was the league's top player in receiving yards.
